DOMOTICS FOR
SERVICEFLATS
Domotics-functions are already years in use and evaluated positive (especially
in the Nederlands) and they stand for extra comfort for a person who needs
care. They make use of standard Domotics, components that fulfill on the KNX-standard.

 Accesscontrol:
The parlo-/videofonie system is based on a doorphone that is connected
to a switchboard. The ring of the doorbell ends up on the standard
(portable) phones what makes it possible to have a conversation and by
forming the right code, the accessdoor of the residense and of the
appartment will be open. The accessdoors are also connected to the domotics-system,
this way opening the door will be possible from everywhere and on every
single way (for example with a simple remote control) Every television or
computerscreen can show the door, this way the resident doesn't has to move
to see who's in front of the door. A portable remote with a screen and a
dooropening button is one of the possibilities. |

 Automatic
lighting:
All the rooms
where people only stay for a short time; there will be motion detectors
installed. Putting on the lighting isn't necessary anymore. In the other
rooms the lighting can be controlled with an simple remote control. |

Touch your scenario:
In the appartment you can for example preprogram four scenarios like (home,
away, cooking, sleeping). With one touch on a button you can put the
lighting, the curtains, the electric fire, ... in the right condition. With
the coocking scenario an attendance detector can turn of the electric fire
if necessary when nobody moved in the kitchen for half an hour.

Aid alarm:
next to the
known system with the emergency numbers on a phone you can also activate it
via Domotics-system. Everywhere a button can be activated for this purpose.
This function can be expanded to for example call a family member if there
was no motiondetection during 6 hours. This attendant should be able to have
a look through the inside camera to look if everything is all right.

 Remote
control:
The whole installation can be controlled with a simple remote control (alarmfunction,
call up scenarios or operate separatly lighting, curtqins, doors, roll-down
shutters, ...). The remote control works on radio-frequences, this way it
doesn't matter where the resident is located. |
Fire prevention
system:
Fire detectors activate the alarm and can for example also open doors
automatically, turn on the lights, ... (someone hard of hearing can for
example be woken up by turning the lighting on and of repeatedly)

Automatisation:
all the curtains, sunshading, roll-down shutters, doors can be controlled
electricly. |
 Data-network:
we put an universal data-connector that can be used for internet, telefonie,
videofonie, audio/video distribution...on serveral places to be prepared for
all the future services.

 Services
like telemedicine(for
example observation of blood pressure from distance) are almost out there. A
camera can also be connected on every accesspoint and controlled from a
distance. This way surveillance is possible from a distance(with image and
noise). |
